Dimma releases new album in May

A hard rock band Dimma releases a new album entitled Eldraunir (Ordeal in English) in May 2017. The band revealed the first song of the up-coming 5th studio album, Villemey. Guðjón Hermansson, known of his Gaui H’s Photography, directed a video for this song. Sonically, Eldraunir is heavier and faster than previous albums of Dimma. Lyrics are about every day difficulties like a fight for support in this cold and tough world. Dimma was formed in 2004 by two brothers guitarist Ingólfur (Ingó) and bassist Sigurður (Silli) Geirdal. In 2011, with two albums under their belt – Dimma (2005) and Stigmata (2008) – the band was joined by drummer Birgir Jónsson and vocalist Stefán Jakobsson.
